Reflection for the first sceencast,
This interactive is used for students that need to organize and summarize their ideas for a paper. The persuasive map shows the students ideas for paper and it helps the students organize into a graphic organizer. Students from grades 3-12 can use to this to develop an interactive to prepare for an upcoming essay. Students could use this interactive when preparing for a standardized test or for an in class essay. As a future educator I would incorporate this into a lesson for students to use in a computer lab during class. Therefore I can assist them with the interactive and help them with their ideas before they write an essay.

Sceeencast 2 Project This technology tool offers many different features beneficial to students’ writing and thinking processes. Rapid fire helps student quickly write their ideas while they are brainstorming. The sticky notes help with adding detail and support to their main points. Therefore students have the opportunity to write as much or as little as they want before turning in an essay or giving a speech. The map helps students to organize their ideas and thoughts into one cohesive sheet of paper that gives them the option of keeping it a graphic organizer or turn it into a simple outline form. Another feature of the Webspiration is the collaborating device. Students can collaborate and work with each other without having to share one computer, which is effective for group projects. Students can also give feedback to each other to peer edit their essays or give constructive advice to improve their paper through using the messaging comment features. Students will find that this tool is helpful during the many stages of writing such as brainstorming, outlining and giving support to their main ideas. Webspiration can be used for a diverse population of students ranging from 4th grade to 12th because of the amount of options that it allows to fluctuate based on the students’ knowledge and needs.
